August 18th is my birthday; I turned 44 this year.
In addition to my girls making a wonderful homemade chocolate cake with a layer of Reese's butter cups and peanut butter icing and my aunt and uncle providing the ice cream, we hosted a small gathering to celebrate on Friday night.
Four families were invited all who had never met one another...A great time was had by all with the last person leaving in the early hours of the morning.
